Shelly Hogbin is a Virginia Beach native with deep roots in the community, having grown up in the Kempsville area and graduating from Kempsville High School. After more than 26 years living and working in Northern Virginia, she has returned to her coastal hometown, bringing a unique dual-market perspective to clients.

Shelly proudly serves buyers and sellers of single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums throughout Northern Virginia and the Hampton Roads area, including Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake. With firsthand knowledge of local neighborhoods such as Kempsville, Bayside, and Shore Drive, combined with extensive experience in Northern Virginia markets, she provides clients with insight that is both hyper-local and regionally strategic.

A graduate of College of William & Mary, with a Master’s degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Shelly spent 27 years in healthcare, where she developed a strong foundation in communication, trust-building, and client-centered care. She brings that same level of dedication and attention to detail to every real estate transaction.

Shelly understands that buying or selling a home is more than a transaction—it’s a significant life decision. She takes a thoughtful, relationship-focused approach, ensuring each client receives personalized guidance, clear communication, and expert market insight from start to finish.

Whether helping a client relocate in Northern Virginia, find the right home near the Virginia Beach coastline, or successfully market and sell a property, Shelly is committed to delivering a seamless, informed, and client-focused experience.

Outside of real estate, Shelly continues her passion for helping others as a massage therapist. She enjoys visiting her children at James Madison University and spending time with family and friends. Whether traveling, reading, hiking, or paddleboarding along the coast, she embraces an active lifestyle and strong connection to her community.
