Looking for a unique way to celebrate Easter weekend near your DC Metro Area Home? If so, you’ll want to head over to the Mansion on O Street for a tasty brunch and jammin’ session!
The brunch will feature an omelet/waffle bar and as assortment of regional favorites along with international selections and scrumptious desserts. There will also be choices for the health conscious, including vegetarian entrees and egg beaters and juice, champagne, coffee and tea will also be offered.
The brunch also gives you access to a self-guided tour of the mansion and you can opt to take part in a treasure hunt, as well. Cost of the brunch is $75 per adult and children between 5 and 11 years of age are half price. Children under 5 are free. The brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
As an added special treat, guests are invited to be part of the Easter Bonnet Brigade and Egg Decorating Contest, where prizes will be awarded. So be sure to search your DC Metro Area home for items that will help you create a very special bonnet before you go!
If you prefer to just enjoy a special Easter Tea, you can still join in the fun between 2:30 and 4 p.m. when the tea trays are rolled out. You’ll find a huge selection of special goodies and baked goods alongside fresh produce and preserves. Clotted cream and scones and an assortment of cheeses will also be offered to be eaten alongside the traditional teas. Pricing for adults is $35 for this enchanting event, and you can even order a specialty cake if you chose.
