Ashburn Village is one of Northern Virginia’s largest communities. It features almost 5,071 residential units, including apartments, single family homes, town homes, age-restricted condominiums and condominiums. Construction on Ashburn Village homes began in 1988. The residential development is almost complete and only one section remains under construction. There are other two parcels for retail and commercial construction that are currently under construction. When Ashburn Village is completed, it will have 2.5 million square feet of office and commercial space. Right now, the community features the 200,000 square foot Ashburn Village Center that offers services and shopping opportunities for all residents.

Ashburn Village is located in close proximity of the Dulles International Airport, only 33 miles away from Washington, DC. This residential community includes numerous amenities like soccer fields, ball fields, neighborhood community centers, bike and jogging trails, basketball and tennis courts, tot lots and meeting rooms. At the same time, the community has more than 500 acres of open space with ponds and lakes that are perfect for fishing. There is one middle school and 2 elementary schools nearby.
Ashburn Village Events & Entertainment Opportunities
There are also numerous events and activities taking place in Ashburn Village. Every year Lake Ashburn features a magnificent display of fireworks hosted by the Ashburn Village Association. Moreover, the Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion organizes a wide array of events and programs on a constant basis, as well. Ashburn Village is continuously developing with the latest news being that the community will feature two new schools in 2013 giving more options to families attending Ashburn and Dominion Trails Elementary Schools.
The community also organizes various charitable events. One of them is Scouting for Food. This program is organized by the Boy Scouts and involves collecting food items for families that need assistance. Donations are then provided too Loudoun Interfaith Relief, Tree of Life Food Pantry, Messiah’s Market and Seven Loaves.
As mentioned before, Ashburn Village features 5,071 units, out of which 816 are multi-family units, 1505 are single family homes, 326 are condominium units and 2424 are townhome units. All units pay general utilities, sewage limited common expenses and general limited common expenses. These expenses include general and legal reserves, newsletter, grounds and facility, website management and other general and administrative operational expenses. The multi-family units do not have access to the Woods, Mills and Lakes Recreational Centers or to the outdoor pool. In addition, some of the townhomes pay extra fees to maintain features like age restricted grounds and Gala Circle utilities, which provides outdoor lamp gas. Ashburn Village condo owners pay regular fees and dues, and have access to all the community’s facilities.
